The problem:
Many companies in the world have developed and matured applications in Oracle Forms. Those applications reside a great deal of the know-how of these companies. Today Oracle forms, up to version 6i, are no longer supported by Oracle, and this presents operational problems with clients using the Windows Vista / 7 operating system. For those companies still using version 6i (client-server architecture), migration to internet-based system is complicated and costly. Additionally, these changes might destabilize the operation of the company.
Have you attempt to solve it ? Have you experienced ?
1. Sky-high prices 2. Inflexible providers 3. Solutions that are not usable to the end users
Viable solution:
In many cases, automatically converting legacy applications is a more viable alternative. Our suite of products creates Java code without the need to train programmers in Java. They can continue to maintain the migrated applications as if they were programming in PL/SQL and Forms.
